What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Lab Assistant position at Actalent?
Actalent is hiring for an entry level laboratory processor in the Austin area!
Description:
Receiving lab samples
Ensuring sample hasn't been damaged or has leaked
Placing sample in correct area of fridge
Labeling samples
Samples could be urine, blood, or stool for COVID, Chemistry, Microbiology, Cytology, and other departments
Shift: Tuesday-Saturday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Skills & Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Must be comfortable working with lab samples
Must have strong attention to detail and be able to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to work on their feet all day
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Very repetitive, very high volume position
Must be self sufficient
