What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Project Manager position at Actalent?
We are hiring an environmental PM with 5 years of experience!
Day to Day:
- Working at JFK and LGA airports as Delta's environmental consultant
- Eyes and ears for delta making sure their environmental management plan is enforced
- Day starts at 6:30 AM
- Meet with 2-3 team members and schedule them and give assignments for day
- Catch up on overnight shift
- Organize deadlines
- Talk to CM team for environmental items that need to be taken care of
- Walk the field
- Compile daily reports
- Be prepared for any emergencies
- Give scope of work to contractors
- Check invoices for accuracy
Skills:
Project management, environmental science, construction, geology, soil sampling, ground water remediation, environmental compliance, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan, swppp, permitting, osha 40, osha 30
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- OSHA 40
- OSHA 30
- Experience on Port Authority project
- Brownfield remediation experience
