What are the responsibilities and job description for the Firmware Engineer position at Actalent?
Job Description:
Actalent Services is looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer for one of our renewable energy clients. This will be a hands on developer role where you would be supporting the embedded firmware of their product. So more than 50% of the time will be working on low level MCU programming using embedded C and RTOS. You will also be working with small device security for the product as well.
Location: Fremont with Hybrid schedule
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM
• 10 years of experience within software development, embedded firmware and MCU Programming
• Extensive experience and examples working with RTOS.
• Expertise/experience in small device security (i.e., ARM TrustZone)
• Experience with wireless communication protocols and IOT devices
