What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hardware Test Engineer position at Actalent?
Description:
Day to day in this role you will be designing hardware testing and driving that same testing for appliance electronics. You will be working with focusing on hardware validation and reliability testing for ACUs, HMIs, Next-generation LCD controls and interactions of these controls with the rest of the appliance. You will also be guiding the technicians on the HW validation/verification as the gate to protect customers from any faulty product.
Qualifications:
MUST HAVE:
* B.S. Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics or equivalent Engineering Degree with electronics skill set.
* Experience with root cause and recreate failure mode
* Experience building electrical devices for testing (hardware validation and reliability testing)
PLUS:
* ISO/IEC 17025 (safety testing) experience
* Embedded firmware/hardware experience
* knowledge of different sensors
