Urgently Hiring *Entry Level* Certified Medical Assistants throughout all of Long Island for a very busy clinic!

Description:
Must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19
- Room patients
- Perform measuring and recording of patient's vital signs including height, weight, blood pressure & pulse
- Record patient information and reason for visit in EMR system
- Perform certain diagnostic tests such as EKG and assist physician with certain medical procedures, as needed
- Collect, label and route specimens according to standard procedures
- Prepare patient records prior to visit by ensuring that required lab results and documentation are entered in the medical record for practitioner review
- Ensure all patients needs and questions are answered, as well as communicated with physician
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant Program
- COVID-19 vaccinated (at least 2 doses)
- Registered as a medical assistant or in process of taking exam
