Urgent requirement of Medical Assistant to start ASAP in DeLand, FL, US

Job Description

Join our team as a Medical Assistant and play a vital role in providing excellent patient care without the responsibilities of injections or chart preparation. You will be part of a busy outpatient facility, managing tasks across multiple floors and handling 250-300 patients a day. Your duties will include drawing and processing labs, calling patients back, monitoring physician schedules, escorting patients from the front to the room, conducting depression and pain scale screenings, and documenting for the physician. Please note, while you will draw labs, processing them will not be part of your duties.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in DeLand, Florida.

Work Environment

This position is based in an outpatient cancer facility. The work hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. This role does not involve working with pediatric patients.
