What are the responsibilities and job description for the Histotechnologist position at Actalent?
Description:
Histology Technician:
Gross (millimeter in size, minute or discrete biopsy)
Embed
Cutting- needs to be able to cut 30 blocks every hr
Stain
Specialty Stains
Administrative Functions (prep for sending out specimens, troubleshoot equipment, document/data entry)
Will be primarily cutting 95% of the time
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
ASCP Cert is preferred but not required
Clinical Histology experience is needed
