Role : Interior Designer
Location: Morristown, New Jersey
Description:
Conducting field and site surveys.
Generating as built CAD/REVIT backgrounds.
Generating furniture plans in CAD/REVIT, specifications and material selections needed for construction
Creating and working with CAD/REVIT drawings.
Space planning and furniture planning.
Finish & Material Selection – based on client needs for function, aesthetic, and budget.
Sourcing and specification of furniture.
Photo realistic renderings using Sketch-up and V-ray.
Preparing presentations for full design package.
Attending client meetings from programming through to construction phase.
Meeting with contractors and installers to explain scope of work.
Mentor Junior Interior Design staff on furniture process.
Skills & Qualifications:
3 - 15 years of interior design experience; preferably for corporate or office interiors. Must have strong knowledge of interior design, furniture specifications and space planning
Fully proficient using AutoCAD and Adobe suite; knowledge of 20/20 software a strong plus
Experience being in front of clients; ability to meet and present to clients; travel to job sites multiple times per week both locally and out of state
