Description:
Lab Tech Entry
Performs laboratory tasks under the direction of a FTE such as dropping, crushing, planting, harvesting, counting, grinding, reagent preparation, and other routine laboratory tasks. Under the guidance of a FTE, conduct routine and preventative maintenance of laboratory equipment. Will be required to assist in the operation of equipment for the purpose of data generation. Assists with receipt and inspection of raw materials, ordering and stocking. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform tasks within the laboratory. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Requires:
* Associates degree or high school graduate with 2-3 years of relevant lab experience or BS degree with no experience * The ability to lift 40-50 lbs. * The Ability to stand while working for prolonged periods of time (4-6 hours) * The ability to conduct repetitive tasks with hands, wrists, and arms
