A unique Lab Technician opportunity with a growing chemical manufacturer in Bergen County, NJ!
Job Description:
- Analyze Samples for Raw Material, In Process, and Finished Product
- Assist in Implementation and Validation of Testing and Instruments/Equipment
- Speak up and recommend adjustments for OOS products
- Maintain Quality Documentation
- Active computer responsibilities involving, but not limited to, data entry, e-mail, CMMS, Lotus Notes, Oracle, LIMS, SAP
- Maintain areas in compliance with GFSI & ISO 9001:2015, GMP, and GDP program requirements in the laboratory.
- Support cGMP, GFSI, ISO9001, SPC, SQC, and any other Quality and Food Safety and Occupational Safety programs/initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in chemistry
- 1-2 years of lab experience
- Experience with lab instrumentation such as gas chromatography, NIR, specific gravity, melting point, and wet chemistry techniques
