Description:
This position is responsible for safely and efficiently executing the daily functions of the Quality Control laboratory in order to ensure the following:
QC, Quality Control, Lab Equipment, Laboratory, chemistry
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
1 year of quality or lab experience is required. (could be from school)
Must have experience following SOPs and written instructions
Must be able to do basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) will need to scale products up and will use math skills for this.
Ability to work independently
Ability to take initiative and solve problems and analyze data to provide a report
Not all temps will do heavy data entry

Description:
This position is responsible for safely and efficiently executing the daily functions of the Quality Control laboratory in order to ensure the following:
- All raw materials used in the process meet specifications
- All finished goods released for shipping meet the finished product specifications
- Any material not meeting QC specifications is placed on Hold
- Weigh up powder and water using a scale.
- Do particle size analysis, very simple test… using a written test method (a high level overview): weigh up a sample, document information of sample on lab record, add sample to equipment, run 2 minutes, weigh up retain on screen mesh, and calculate result.
- Use a Loupe eye piece (magnifying glass) to read an average width of a scratch (picture #2) and to read the average width of an indentation (picture #3). The Loupe eye piece has a millimeter scale built in.
