What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Technician position at Actalent?
Description:
- Working in the lab doing sample preparation for samples of silica soil, petroleum, and clay.
- Will be working primarily in their Drill Core Lab were they will take silica soil samples that come in from the mining field and clean up the samples and get the prepped for final product.
- Take the prepped soil and petroleum samples to be analyzed by chemistry and production laboratories.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor in Hard Science (Chemistry, Biology, or Biochemistry).
- Also open to Environmental Science or Geology Degrees
- Must have some laboratory exposure (can be from school) and knowledge of basic chemistry
