Actalent is immediately hiring multiple Laboratory Assistants for an opportunity supporting a biotechnical company in the Leesburg, Virginia area.
Description:
- Sort and inventory of Research material, which may include, but it is not limited to: wet tissues, blocks, slides, paper data, and/or temperature sensitive material.
- Keep the Biorepository Coordinator informed of day-to-day progress, including irregularities, and deviations from the normal.
- This role handles animal specimens (tissues, blocks, microscope slides)

- High School Diploma minimum requirement
- Ability to follow SOP's and maintain lab safety
- Good understanding of inventory and sample management preferred.
