Shift: Monday-Friday 7am or 8am start
Description:
• Provides laboratory technical support involving the application of scientific research methods and techniques.
• Prepares laboratory processing supplies and reagents according to effective Sampled Standard Operating Procedures.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the laboratory space.
• Organizes documentation under the direction of the Sample Processing Manager and Supervisors.
• Provides assistance to Laboratory Specialists when needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• HS Diploma completed
• Must be enrolled in college or university degree program working towards a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline. (AS, BS, or BA)
• Requires knowledge of scientific empirical procedures.
• Must understand the fundamentals of science.
• Must be able to properly set and use a micropipette.
• Must read and understand technical documents.
• Must perform basic scientific routines, protocols, and tests and articulate data to researchers.
• Must lift and move up to 30 pounds.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
