Description:
These are new positions created to support upcoming business at TMMK. These are first shift positions. The group has a hybrid scheduled - 3 days in office and 2 days at home each week. This hybrid schedule is not available until they feel someone is fully trained which could be 6-8 months.
Job Description
• Daily communication with Manufacturing and Production Control members to resolve issues and continuous logistics optimization
• Collection and analysis of daily KPI data to achieve Hoshin and operational targets
• Work with Route Planning, Logistics Partners, Ordering and Suppliers to develop efficient logistics designs
• Study of future logistics change requirements and conduct analysis of efficiency / cost impact.
• Responsible for managing conflicting business requirements, model change management, daily parts/operational issues and ensuring all logistics operations objectives are met.
• Data Management and Calculation Accuracy are key to success in this position. Must maintain high organizational skills at a detail level with a clear understanding of the overall impact to the total logistics image.
• Problem Solving and decision making are critical to this position. These aspects will be needed to make supply chain decisions that have potential to impact production.
• Build and maintain strong relationships (internal/external) through mutual trust and respect to deliver and receive complex information in a clear/concise method that cross cultural and organizational lines.
• Lead safety and productivity improvement initiatives
• Lead, request, and monitor recovery of abnormal conditions that occur in the supply chain

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) or at least 1 years of equivalent professional work experience in a Production Control role
• High level proficiency in use of Microsoft Office software (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
• Process management experience with cross departmental impact. Must be able to develop and follow operating procedures and measure results utilizing process control standards and KPI’s
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end Production Control and Supply Chain flow and function
• Ability to represent the department by effectively and independently communicating (via presentations and written communications) to all levels of the organization
• Experience and basic understanding of Toyota Way principles of problem solving (Including TPS, TBP, Hoshin, OJD, JIT)
• KPI Management/Visualization experience
• Overtime 5% - 30% (2 to 12 Hours/week)
• <5% Domestic Travel
Added bonus if you have
•Military experience preferred
External/Internal logistics, Supply Chain, Parts Ordering, and Packaging experience
• Experience in data analysis and visualization
• Experience in Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps)
• Experience in creating and/or manipulating tables and queries in Microsoft Access
• Functional project management skills in a large-scale manufacturing environment
• Developing project strategies, problem-solving and countermeasures
• Dock schedule, ILMS, FVM, OWK, e-Kanban, and SQL knowledge
