Urgently Hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse for a Cardiology Medical office located in Danbury, CT!!
**This position is open to entry level candidates**
Job Description: This is a busy cardiology office where they see anywhere from 15-30 patients daily.
- Performing brief histories on patients
- Obtaining vitals
- Tracking ordered labs and diagnostic testing results
- Administering injections and providing teaching for self-administration
- Filling out forms
- Triaging patient phone calls, booking appointments as needed
- Assisting the provider with minor procedures
- Obtaining and coordinating prior authorizations for medication
Skills & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Active LPN license in the state of CT
- Cardiology Experience is a PLUS!
- Must be fully vaxed (No Booster Needed)
Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm (After trained Wednesdays will be 8:15am-5:15pm) no weekends or late nights!
