Job Description
We're seeking a highly-skilled Manufacturing Technician to assist with the migration of our manufacturing and assembly line from Portland to and out of state facility. This role will involve the breaking down of manufacturing cells, decommissioning machines, de-wiring, shipping cells, and managing the entire shipping process. Your duties will also include working with packing teams, taking photos as necessary, and documenting everything for future machinery assembly. This position will be 75% mechanical and 25% electrical. This role is located in Portland, OR and requires on-site work for the entirety of the 12-month assignment.
Hard Skills
- Associates Degree or two-year technical in any manufacturing capacity
- 5-10 years' experience within the Manufacturing Technician industry
- Hands-on experience with Industrial Equipment and machinery
- Experience in breakdown of machinery / decommissioning of machines
- Prior experience with assembly cells
- Understanding basic assembly (pneumatic drivers, electrical controls experience)
Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Portland, OR. The successful candidate will be working in a clean, highly regulated environment. The migration process will occur in waves over the course of 12 months.
