Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

Job Description

Large Semiconductor Manufacturer needs support in a clean room environment for a long-term project. We need 1 material handler for Austin, TX who will be working between two sites: Mon-Fri – 5 x 8 hours – 7am-4pm with an hour for lunch.

• Manage and track the movement of material to ensure it is where it needs to be at the required time

• Register the movement of material and maintain the status in SAP within 24 hours of status change

• Manage the storage of the material to ensure it can be found quickly and is not lost

• Physically move the material both within the clean room and support the movement of material from the warehouse to the customer facility

• Track and register serial numbers of the material using an RF Scanner

• Ensure the material is allocated and physically moved using the appropriate transportation method

• Order material and organize transportation as required

• Inspect tools for completeness and appropriate certifications

• Maintain a neat and clean work area

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of tooling and "kits" as part of the pickup and return process, rejecting incomplete or inaccurate tools/kits

• Assist in defect resolution for incoming tools/kits

• Work according to local and customer safety and specific Ways of Working (WoW)

Hard Skills

• Worked in Manufacturing Environment
• RF Scanner
• Basic Excel
• Warehouse/Semiconductor Materials Handling experience
• Computer systems knowledge: ERP/MRP or Excel or other Inventory Management System
• Experience using SAP systems or similar complex ERP
• Complex electro-mechanical components handling
• Good level of Excel skill

• Good Personality
• Strong Communication Skills (pass downs/changeovers)
• Positive, proactive get things done attitude
• Must come across as a good person, hard worker, and someone who will seek out work to do rather than wait to be told what to do

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Austin, Texas.

Work Environment

Shift-based work both inside and outside a clean room. Mon-Fri – 5 x 8 hours – 7am-4pm with an hour for lunch.
