Description:
Actalent is seeking a Master Scheduler (P6) so support a government contractor and client in Columbus, OH. The Ground Systems Division there is made up of engineers, designers, technicians, supply chain experts, and program managers contracted by the US Government and commercial clients to develop unique solutions to solve challenges associated with the design and integration of uparmored commercial vehicles (Toyota Land Cruisers, Ford Expeditions, etc), associated equipment, mission payloads, and tactical tools. The Master Scheduler will be an integral part of the multi-disciplinary teams that we form around each project. This client will produce around 200 vehicles per year. The requirements are to manage our Primavera P6 application for multiple project managers to determine scheduling constraints and resource needs using an integrated master schedule hosted in P6. They will work closely with our finance team to develop EVM metrics to report to leadership. They will also create notional schedules for proposals. The team-based approach means you will work side-by-side with, Program Managers, Engineers, Designers, Technicians, and other disciplines focused on successfully executing an integrated project plan resulting in delivering a specialized vehicle to a variety of customers on time and under budget. Your coworkers will range from recent graduates to those with 20 years of experience in a variety of technical fields. The unique backgrounds and work experiences brought by each team member lends diversity to the design and integration process, resulting in superior designs and vehicles for our customers and an engaging work environment for us. In this position, you will gain exposure to all automotive systems across many diverse projects. The Master Scheduler will collect and analyze data with a high level of independence and regularly exchange information with a variety of internal and external resources. Creates and maintains a feasible master schedule and builds plans across multiple programs. Initiates contact with appropriate internal and external resources to report and resolve problems in advance. Serves as liaison with management resolving production and performance issues to meet customer and business performance expectations. Responsible for the allocation of resources and scheduling of large, complex work or groups. Plans and prepares intergrated master schedules and departmental workflows to establish sequence and operations to meet business timeframes and deadlines. Gathers and analyzes data and information to coordinate schedules of the allocation of resources. Develops forecasts and interprets demands and assess human, facility, equipment, and/or material resource requirements. Identifies and evaluates risks and develops alternative recovery schedules to resolve issues. Communicates schedule conflicts as well as status to management in timely manner. Works with planner/schedulers to assure that scheduling is completed in a timely manner. Communicates and collaborates directly with internal and external resources as directed by management. Coordinates and/or schedules the development and training of employees, depending on department needs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must be able to show they are an expert in Primavera (P6) software Bachelor's degree in related field preferred (open to no bachelors if candidate has good, consistent job history and showed growth) 5 years of experience with the development and implementation of integrated master scheduling; or an equivalent combination of education and or experience in a related field. Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects. Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with internal and external resources. Strong computer skills with proficiency with technical tools and resources for applicable to area.
