What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Designer position at Actalent?
Description:
Actalent is looking for a Mechanical Designer to join our team to support a DOD client in the St. Louis area. The Designer will utilize ProE and CREO to design and package complex industrial systems, with an emphasis on managing tight constraints in size and weight. This person will be overseeing the entire design process for complex systems, ensuring that all components, both existing and new, are effectively integrated within the specified constraints.
This designer will be supporting one our client's newest programs, a military grade generator. Experience working with large industrial parts or sheet metal is beneficial.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5-7 years of experience with ProE and CREO is preferred. If not, experience with another 3D modeling software is acceptable.
- Someone's ability to learn will be more important in that case.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office suite and ability to navigate with no training.
