What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Drafter position at Actalent?
Description:
- Prepare detailed drawings of machines and parts in solidworks modeling software.
- Check drawings for accuracy and compliance with engineering standards.
- Create Bill of Materials and related drawing list in accordance with LLC standards.
- Interpret blueprints and technical concepts; proofread necessary calculations for the production of drawings.
- Performs engineering change documents and drawing revisions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in the production of mechanical detail and assembly drawing for machine & automation systems.
- Solid Works Modeling/ Detailing software certification or experience required.
- Experience with MS Office and data entry in an inventory management or bill of materials system.
