My client is a full service MEP consulting firm specializing in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection layout and design for Architectural clients and all building types. This is a great opportunity for a motivated mechanical engineer to gain hands on experience with projects from inception to completion. This person will be working directly with the Principal Engineer!
Job Description
- Produce designs and drawings for all MEP consulting projects
- Travel to sites to conduct field surveys. Must carry, climb ladders, etc..
- Coordinate with PE's on staff
- Use AutoCad to draft mechanical drawings
- Engineering responsibilities for MEP (Mechanical)
- Some travel required (work is up and down the east coast from Maine to Florida. A company car may be provided once going perm)
Skills & Qualifications:
- 1-5 years of Mechanical Engineering; must be MEP experience
- Ability to use AutoCAD to produce drawings for HVAC systems
- Must be able to travel to job sites as needed; conduct field surveys
