Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer
Job Description
Project Leadership: Oversee and manage mechanical engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring they meet client specifications, budget, and timeline. Design and Analysis: Develop and review detailed mechanical designs, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, using software like Revit. Coordination: Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, architects, and construction teams to ensure integrated and efficient designs. Quality Assurance: Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, such as ASHRAE standards and local building codes. Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a collaborative and educational work environment. Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their needs, present design solutions, and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Melbourne, FL (or Orlando, FL) and some days remote.

The role may require site visits, with travel within the state by driving or flying. The company has 4 offices with 50-60 people located in the Florida and Colorado offices. Other locations include Colorado Springs, St. Petersburg, Orlando and Melbourne, FL.
