Currently hiring for multiple Medical Assistant opportunities in Port Washington!
- This is for a leading health care system that specializes specifically in community health.
- All roles are full-time, weekly pay, with options for benefits that include: Medical, Dental, 401K.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-5:30 PM
Specialty: Urgent Care Setting
Job Description:
- Room patients
- Perform measuring and recording of patient's vital signs including height, weight, blood pressure & pulse
- Record patient information and reason for visit in EMR system
- Perform certain diagnostic tests such as EKG and assist physician with certain medical procedures, as needed
- Collect, label and route specimens according to standard procedures
- Prepare patient records prior to visit by ensuring that required lab results and documentation are entered in the medical record for practitioner review
- Ensure all patients needs and questions are answered, as well as communicated with physician
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Medical Assistant diploma
- Fully vaccinated for Covid-19
