Actalent is hiring an LPN Nurse!

Job Description

Seeking an experienced LPN to join a dynamic oncology center team. The ideal candidate will be able to handle a fast-paced environment, seeing between 65-75 patients per day. Candidates must be able to quickly adapt, take initiative in learning and note-taking, and integrate smoothly into our workflow. Prior experience in oncology is preferred, but experience in hospital or urgent care settings is also valued. Responsibilities include general nursing care following established standards and practices, maintaining physician schedules, patient flow, and performing a variety of patient care tasks such as vitals, assessments, and procedures.

Hard Skills

• Prepping charts
• Taking vitals on consult patients
• Nurse triage patients
• Entering information into medical software (Arya, E-Clinical, Care Cloud)
• Ordering imaging and scanning
• Assisting with the preparation of equipment
• Administering prescribed medications
• Scheduling patient tests, procedures, and hospital admissions

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Clearwater, Florida.

Work Environment

The position hours are from 8am to 5pm.
