Description:
- Paleontologist, 0-2 years of paleontology field work experience
- Experience with construction monitoring
- Bachelors Degree in Paleontology/Geology/Biology
KEY AREAS OF FOCUS
- Construction monitoring
- Monitoring for fossils during construction projects
- Data logs filled out regularly as well as some report writing
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Construction monitoring on paleontological job sites
- Ensuring fossils are identified during construction process if they are exposed
- On site during construction process for duration of work
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
EDUCATION
- Bachelor Degree in Paleontology/Geology/Biology or a related field
CERTS
- Valid US Driver's License
- Clean Driving Record
YEARS OF EXP
- 0-2 years of experience in paleontology mitigation
- Previous experience in CA is nice to have, but not required
