Job Title: Pharmacy Clerk
Job Description:
As a Pharmacy Clerk, your primary responsibilities will include data entry, handling phone calls with members/providers, and providing members with decisions on their PAs - either approved, denied, or in need of more information. The role is heavily focused on data entry and entails working with two screens in a high-production environment. Even when goals are met, adherence to the schedule is paramount.
This role offers a chance to work with a Fortune 50 company and gain exposure to Managed Care/Pharmacy services. While the role is contract-based, there is an opportunity for it to convert into a permanent position. However, this is not guaranteed. The contract duration is for six months.
The working schedule is from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm EST with rotating Saturdays and some holidays.
