What are the responsibilities and job description for the Phlebotomist I position at Actalent?
Description:
Phlebotomists
- Working with pediatric to geriatric populations
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
- Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED against COVID-19
Minimum of 1 year of verifiable phlebotomy experience
Experience with pediatric to geriatric populations;
MUST have straight stick experience
Ability to handle up high volume draws per day
Must have a strong ability to multi-task with great customer-service skill
