Description:
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills and effective leadership qualities.
- Coordinate, plan, and supervise multiple piping crews, ensuring optimal crew assignments for each job.
- Develop and distribute weekly schedules for piping crews, fostering efficient project execution.
- Drive the growth of the piping department by actively recruiting and onboarding new team members.
- Provide leadership and support to existing piping staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of all piping jobs within the department.
On-Site Management:
- Conduct regular on-site visits to monitor crew progress, schedule adherence, and overall productivity.
- Collaborate with foremen during site walks, addressing any inquiries and providing assistance as needed.
- Establish and track goals for crews, ensuring milestones and achievements are met.
Technical Expertise:
- Demonstrate expertise in Chilled Water, Heating Hot Water, Steam, and Refrigerant Piping Systems.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of various pipe materials and fittings, including welding, copper, valves, etc.
- Compile comprehensive material lists for pipe, fittings, and valves, ensuring timely ordering and availability for crews.
Collaboration and Customer Service:
- Work collaboratively with Project Managers, SMF staff, Startup teams, General Contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Provide exemplary customer service and support to all clients.
- Participate actively in weekly production meetings and contribute insights during jobsite meetings.
Consistency and Profitability:
- Demonstrate regular attendance and consistency in all duties.
- Work towards achieving profitability goals for the piping group.
Reporting Structure:
- Report directly to the Operations Manager.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10-15 years of pipe fitting experience
- 5 years of experience working in a lead, foreman, or superintendent role

- Must have experience working on commercial / industrial projects
