Description:
Seeking a Production Planner/Scheduler 3. Planners and Schedulers support a wide variety of different functional areas and play an integral role in the success of all projects and product lines. They are looking for an experienced Product Planner/Scheduler 3 that will be responsible for change management and tracking, project performance metrics, and collaborating with the integrated project team on various other tasks. The Production Planner/Scheduler 3 will work closely with the Production Control department and may assist with implementing new policies, procedures and/or software.
Plans, prepares, issues and controls production schedules and coordinates with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements. Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed. Schedules equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demands, prepares work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements. Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, etc.; schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
-Proficiency with Primavera P6 required
-Proficiency with MS Excel required
-Experience preparing, updating, and evaluating schedules and schedule metrics required
-Must be able to work independently and in team/group settings
-Must be able to obtain and maintain a government clearance.

-Deltek/Costpoint (MRP) experience preferred but not required
-MS Project experience preferred but not required
