What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plumbing Designer position at Actalent?
Actalent is currently hiring a Plumbing Designer/Engineer to support a reputable Engineering firm in Dublin, OH. This is a full service engineering firm that offers Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Commissioning, LEED, and Technology Systems. The engineering firm provides their services for a variety of projects including Healthcare, Corporate Office, Data Center & Telecom, Education, Laboratory, and Hospitality.
As the Plumbing Designer/Engineer, you will be tasked with supporting Junior level and Highly-Experienced Engineers for tenant improvement projects. Once the tenant improvement projects have been completed you would support commercial, food service, and office building projects. You will primarily utilize Revit and AutoCAD to complete Plumbing designs for these projects. There is a backlog of projects in which you will be supporting for the foreseeable future.
As an Actalent consultant, you will be a W-2 employee of Actalent supporting the engineering firm and after a 12-month period you have the opportunity to transition to the Engineering firm as their employee. You also have the option to continue employment with Actalent as well. Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of Plumbing Design Experience
- A 4-year Engineering degree is not required
- AutoCAD experience within plumbing design is a must (Revit experience is preferred)
