What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager position at Actalent?
Description:
- The selected individual will work closely with the project's Ship Manager with a focus on safety, quality, being on schedule, and being on cost.
- You will work across multiple departments and processes to support program efforts across the entire ship repair team.
- You will maintain/develop our Lifecycle Management System through the use of the Earned Value Management System. Monitor TIP/OQE completion.
- You must understand NAVSEA standard items (repair) and commercial standards.
- You will coordinate communication and feedback with customer (IDRs, CFRs, etc.) to resolve technical issues.
- The Ship Managers will operate at the Ship's Force level and the Program Manager will operate at the MARMC level.
- You will report to the Director of Programs.
Qualifications:
- Eight (8) years relevant Program Management experience.
- Bachelor's in Project Management, Business Development, Finance or similar field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Fluent in scheduling tools, critical path analysis, schedule risk assessments, and schedule mitigation strategies.
- Ability to compute, analyze, and interpret numerical and/or statistical data for reports.
