What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Controls Analyst position at Actalent?
Description:
- Assist Project Coordinators in producing a value of work performed, structured as cost plus, unit billings, etc.
- Help PCM to present data on financial statuses of projects and work valuation for resource meetings.
- Assist PCM in organization and tracking timeline of contract renewals.
- Assistance with programmatic initiatives, training, and alignment opportunities.
- Share relevant documentation and reports with financial controls and project teams.
- Execute procurement, research, and result for necessary analysis. · Daily record keeping with electronic and hard copy filing of documents and other administrative duties.
- Performs other duties assigned by management team.
Initially this person will be hired on as a Full-Time W-2 employee of Actalent where you would receive an hourly wage, holiday pay, pto, Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision insurance), and 401k. After being an employee of Actalent for 12 -months, this person will have the option to transition to the Engineering firm as a direct employee or remain as a consultant.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field, preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience in related position; construction or project/finance controls preferred.
- Experience in construction or utility industry is a plus.
- Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills with ability to communicate in an effective manner.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience in programs such as Smartsheet, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and Adobe, preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy of information.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize day to day operational and administrative functions.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within fixed timeframes.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.ncy in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
