What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Cost Controller position at Actalent?
This is a travel position in Stanton, TN for a one of a kind project.
As the Project Controls Cost Manager, here’s the work you’ll do:
- Provide support and guidance for site Project Manager for the cost and schedule issues
- Interface with clients and Business Unit VP's to ensure the required deliverables are being met, including monthly/period reports and project reviews.
- Participate in Project Support Team activities & Periodic audits of processes to ensure Contractual Procedural compliance.
- Coordinate all interface report out meetings between our client and field sites.
This role is for you if you have these skills:
- Primavera P6 knowledge including cost and resource loaded schedules is a plus
- Earned Value Management experience is a must
- Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy and exceptional organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and must possess the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Knowledge of general project controls functions and the ability to plan, organize, budget, and monitor progress.
- Good computer skills and proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power BI.
- SAP R/3 experience is a plus
And if you have these qualifications:
- Primavera P6 knowledge including cost and resource loaded schedules
- Some college or post secondary education preferred
- Ten plus years experience in related project controls assignments
- Computer proficiency certifications a plus or equivalent education
- Great attitude and team player.
- Successful completion of screening process.
