Project Support Specialist - Solar Farm - New Carlisle, IN

A local and leading Solar Company is hiring a Project Support Specialist to support Construction on a 150MW Solar Farm in New Carlisle, IN. This project is just starting to kickoff at the start of 2023 and is anticipated to last the remainder of the calendar year. While this person will be 100% onsite for this project in New Carlisle, the company is anticipating additional work in Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan in 2024 and beyond. This person will be reporting to the Project Manager and Construction Manager onsite, and this is a great way for someone with just a few years of experience to learn from trained professionals and to advance his/her career with a growing Solar Developer/EPC as they continue to expand their footprint across the country.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive and distribute Project Correspondence, Contracts, Drawings, Project Records, and additional Project Documents
• Maintain logs for RFI’s, Submittals, Substitution Requests, Contracts, Change Proposals, Change Orders, and Invoices
• Pull Data from Microsoft Excel and Procore Software to create PowerPoint Presentations
• Arranges Project Meetings and Record Discussions at Meetings
• Prepare, Distribute, and Maintain Project Meeting Minutes and Action Logs
• Support Project Management Team in Project Tracking and Documentation as-needed

Job Requirements:

• 3 Years of Experience as Project Specialist, Project Administrator, or with Project Documentation (see documents examples above)
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite Software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Strong Verbal and Written Communication
• Strong Attention to Detail and Organizational Skills
• Ability to Work Onsite in Construction Trailer
• Preferred but Not Required - Previous Construction Project Specialist Experience
• Preferred but Not Required - Experience with Microsoft Project

Compensation & Environment:

• Target pay is between $20-25/hour depending on experience (overtime paid at 1.5x regular rate)
• Schedule will range between 40 to 60 hours per week, with some Saturday work required
• Will utilize Trailer at the Construction Site for Daily Responsibilities
