Location: Cincinnati , OH
Pay: $20 per hour
Shift:
3rd Rotating Schedule.
Train on 1st shift then transition to 3rd
3rd 7p-7a rotating days (Week 1: M,T,Fr,Sa Week 2: Su,We,Th)

Description:
- QC Chemist will conduct chemical, physical and performance testing to support the chemical manufacturing process. They will analyze raw materials, in-process materials and finished product samples. Perform data entry, generate and file records, set up lab equipment, perform calibrations and recommend/initiate corrective actions for lab and product non conformance.
- Testing includes: colorimetry, UV Vis, IR, titrations (auto and manual), viscosity, turbidity, Karl Fischer, digital density, melting and freezing point, GC, LC-MS and atomic absorption.
- After conducting the specific tests the chemists will analyze and record to Excel or SAP.

Qualifications:
Must Haves:
Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Science
- 0-2 years of experience depending on degree
- Basic chemistry skills from school or industry experience
- Understanding of wet chemistry
- Able to follow directions and procedures
Preferred:
- Chemical experience
- Familiarity with GC, titrations, HPLC, LC-MS, Karl Fischer and viscosity
Experience Level:
Intermediate Level
