What are the responsibilities and job description for the QC Microbiologist position at Actalent?
Description:
- Perform routine and non-routine microbial testing
- Performs quality control testing of media upon incoming for release of use.
- Performs in-process and routine utility bioburden testing.
- Performs raw material release testing including microbial limits and endotoxin, as required.
- Performs final product release testing including those tests applicable for endotoxin, sterility, and toxicity.
- Reads/verifies environmental plates sampled from the manufacturing rooms during production and routine monitoring.
- Coordinates waste management, LEAN and 5S efforts as required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Prior Micro lab experience preferred- and/or experience and/or knowledge of aseptic manufacturing operations.
