What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Analyst position at Actalent?
Description:
As our new Quality Analyst you would be responsible for assisting in managing a wide variety of sub-supplier and have experience in supplier quality requirements and expectations. You will be required travel to various suppliers to inspect parts in process or completed as a source inspector to ensure compliance.
The ideal candidate should have experience in process inspections and receiving (incoming) material inspections in accordance with drawing, manufacturing order, and purchase order requirements. Preferably you will have root cause/corrective action analysis expertise to assist suppliers in helping understand issues discovered, determine causes, and establish effective corrective actions. Good written and verbal communication skills and computer skills is needed for this role.
What you will be doing...
Develops and implements program quality plans and procedures. Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards. Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies and data related to production. Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Interfaces with stakeholders to ensure requirements are met. Recommends corrective actions, dispositions, process optimization and modifications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
- Must have experience and demonstrate proficiency using calibrated measuring and test equipment.
- Experience with inspection and handling of electronic equipment and manufacturing methods.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a government clearance.
