Job Title: Quality Engineer

Job Description

- Manage CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).

- Conduct Root Cause Analysis.

- Perform data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.

- Utilize Poka-Yoke for Zero Defects Quality Control.

- Conduct internal and supplier quality audits.

- Maintain and update quality documentation including control plans, inspection criteria, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

- Provide training and support to production staff.

Qualifications

- 3 years' experience in quality engineering in a manufacturing environment

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or Computer Science with experience in manufacturing

- Electronics manufacturing experience preferred

- Experience managing a QMS system and standards AS9100, ISO 9001 & ISO 13485

- Experience in Zero Defect Quality Control (ZDQC) and training in Poka-Yoke

- Proficient in CAPA processes and methodologies

- Proficient use of data analysis tools and software

- Quality Engineering Certification or Six Sigma is a nice to have

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Cranston, Rhode Island.
