Description:
- Performs all routine radiographic procedures according to department standards, protocols and guidelines required by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and the State of Connecticut. - Exhibits proficiency in conducting routine radiographic procedures and fluoroscopic exams including gastro-intestinal studies, ERCP’s, Atrthrography, Hysterosalpingography, Urography and portable X Ray equipment including C Arm procedures. - Provides proper clinical patient care while performing diagnostic procedures. - Provides careful critique and assessment over the image quality. - Exhibits accuracy in computer documentation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: - High School diploma or GED equivalent. - Must pass the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) National Board, and have a State of Connecticut License to practice Radiographic technical procedures or receive within 3 months of graduation. - On an on-going basis the incumbent must obtain the mandatory number of continued educational units (CEU’s) needed to maintain the currency of state licensure. - Must have certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire and maintain clinical competency during employment with ECHN in this role.
