What are the responsibilities and job description for the REMOTE - Design Engineer position at Actalent?
We are seeking a remote designer to support their growing portfolio of substation and transmission work. They are in direct support of Tier 1 Utilities such as First Energy, PHI, and NY Power and they are approaching new phases of projects that need production support, which is why they are seeking to grow their team. This role will entail conducting design, implementation and technical analysis of various systems.
Requirements:
-Minimum 2 years of experience of design experience within electrical-design oriented software - AutoCAD
-Comfortable with working in a fast-paced, yet collaborative work environment.
-Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Active role in a professional engineering organization preferred
