Hiring Project Managers for a major Construction Consulting firm working on large-scale 5-year utility projects in the Northeast.
Responsible for the execution and successful completion of the project. She or He is main point of contact between contractors and the client on all project matter.
The PM shall be responsible for monitoring and measuring project performance throughout the project and resolving any contract disputes relative to costs, scope, and schedule.
Description:
- Hybrid schedule: On site 1 week per month
- Initiation, Planning, Executing, and Closing Projects — defining the project WBS, Cost Baseline and OBS structure, initiating the project, building its comprehensive work plan, controlling and managing to the risks, scope, schedule and budget
- Managing Teams — facilitating commitment and productivity, removing obstacles, and managing teams
- Implementation and Management of Quality and Environmental Process and procedures on all projects focusing on meeting SPI and CPI performance indicators less than 1.0
- Management of third-party projects including other transmission owners and interconnecting customers
Accountable and Responsible for:

- Regulatory and Stakeholder Management
Qualifications:
- There are Sr. Pm, PM I & PM II in order from most experienced to least experienced.
- Sr. PM needs 10 Years of experience in PM, 3 years in large projects, Substation, T&D. Gas-Hydro and OSG
- PM I needs 5-10 years of large scale projects Program Management for Utility Business - Substation, T&D, Gas-Hydro and OSG.
- PMII is more of a project engineer.... they assist client PM in office admin. and field operations. Must have Bachelors degree and 2-5 years of experience in energy sector.
