Revit Modeler

Description:

seeking a REVIT modeler who will be creating Revit models and performing AutoCAD for creation of construction documents.

3 yrs experience with drafting and REVIT.

AutoCAD experience is a must have.

Understanding of how to create Revit families

Integrating 3D scans into Revit models.

Modeling process, mechanical, electrical, structural and related systems.

Publishing construction drawings.

Performing clash detection and coordinating models in Navisworks.

AutoCAD drafting when required.

Coordination with engineering team members in mechanical, electrical, structural, and other disciplines.

Participation in internal review meetings to discuss design strategy and progress.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

A multi-discipline background or someone with interest in design and drafting in multiple disciplines (mechanical, electrical, architectural or structural.)

Understanding of drafting or designing layout of systems in any discipline.

Good communication skills. (will be working with clients)

ability to learn, take direction and develop.

Works under close supervision; receives specific and detailed instructions as to required tasks and results expected with limited opportunity to exercise judgment.

Develops drawings, updates drawings layout of equipment, mechanical, electrical layout, architectural and structural. Using REVIT and AutoCAD to update drawing and create models.

Work closely with engineers to develop strategies, update designs and draft red lines and markups.
