Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to provide end-of-life care, ensuring the comfort and quality of life for patients. The successful candidate will work in a team-driven environment, frequently communicating with patients, families, and other caregivers. Tasks include coordinating care under the direction of the primary physician, conducting patient/family assessments, developing and implementing interdisciplinary care plans, and providing high-level personalized service to patients and families at all times.

Hard Skills

• Valid Florida driver's license
• Adequate and reliable means of transportation with adequate insurance
• Experience in public health, home nursing care, oncology nursing, medical/surgical nursing, geriatric nursing or Hospice nursing preferred
• Understanding of Hospice Nursing: case management, crisis intervention, communication skills, teaching skills, thanatology skills and needs
• Basic computer skills and experience with EMR software

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Work Environment

The role is onsite at a hospice treatment center, with working hours from 7am to 7:30pm and every other weekend required.
