Description:
Actalent is seeking a Sales Engineer for a client based out of CO. Candidate will be responsible for developing new business in your assigned territory (PA, NYC, NJ and DE). Candidates located in Eastern PA are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation
- On Site Customer Sales Activities:
- Perform technical demonstrations for prospective customers
- Support and visit customers in assigned territory
- Help with equipment maintenance, sometimes repairing equipment on the field
- Inform customers of new accessories, technology, capabilities, consumables, etc
- Some activity will require overnight travel (upwards of 50% travel may be required)
- Usher sales deals through entire cycle, from new lead to product delivery
- Provide after sales support
- Reporting and Organization Through Salesforce CRM
- Provide monthly report detailing on site customer sales activities
- Meticulously maintain and update customer database
- Attend trade shows and conferences, sometimes outside of territory and requiring travel
Qualifications:
- A.S. or B.S. Degree in Engineering field.
- Looking for candidates who are willing and comfortable making sales calls, visits, and tradeshows to promote our clients' product.
- Ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience within manufacturing, product development, lab, machine design, or manufacturing.
