What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Prroject Engineer position at Actalent?
Description:
1. GC or Owner experience 5 years - owners rep senior project engineer. Role entails responsibilities on the owners side, thinking from the stakeholders point of view.
2. Sr. PE / APM level work or responsibilities. Familiarity with working closely with contractors, engineers, and clients directly. Being able to answer questions from various groups swiftly and confidently. Participation in OAC meetings, not just being a fly on the wall but contributing.
3. DSA experience, any OSHPD / HCAI experience is applicable. Familiarity with strict building codes, data centers and clean rooms are applicable.
4. Experience doing multiple projects at once.
5. Experience managing RFIs, Change Orders, Submittals.
6. Understanding of MEP systems - HVAC, plumbing, electrical. Project will be a ground up so having an understanding of mechanical/electrical systems that go into a building. NOT A MASTER, just understanding.
7. Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm, on site. Will travel to Bolinas 2 days out of the week.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• BS or MS degree in Engineering or Construction Management; electrical or mechanical engineering degree very helpful
• 5 or more years with CM/General Contractor Organization working on $5 million life sciences
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience
