Software Engineer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the architecture and design of a module/project, making architecture and design choices for new product development, maintenance activities, and field issue resolution.
• Technically lead maintenance activities, field issue resolution, working with local and globally distributed teams with a hands-on approach for solving issues.
• Review and approve the design and code of a module/project/defect fixes.
• Demonstrate customer focus by ensuring quality of software releases and timely resolution of field-reported issues.
• Provide guidance to development and test teams with respect to overall design and development.
• Lead and coach team members.
• Drive the application of principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring, and testing techniques.
