What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structural EIT position at Actalent?
Description:
Actalent is seeking a Structural Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join a well established office in Vancouver to work on a wide variety of projects including commercial, healthcare, and residential. Responsibilities include engineering analysis, project management, coordination of structural drawings, and development of lateral systems for low rise construction. Preference will be given to candidates with wood frame, seismic, and posttension deck experience. Additional duties include technical writing and reporting, client relationship building, performing engineering calculations, and preparing construction documents.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in structural engineering is required. Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred. EIT license is highly encouraged.
