Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Superintendent to oversee elevator replacement and modernization projects. This role involves extensive travel with mileage reimbursement and approximately 90% GSA max for per diem days. There are no set home rotations; schedules will depend on the project. The initial assignment will be in Omaha at the FRB Building. The project starts in the first week of September and will last for 8 months, requiring 40-50 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating schedules and cost-effective plans for project completion, collaborating with staff on preconstruction estimates, coordinating work activities, ensuring quality and timeliness, and adhering to specifications and regulations. Regular inspections and progress reports are essential components of this role, as well as obtaining necessary permits and licenses and ensuring budget adherence. The role also requires collaboration with union representatives and addressing any safety or regulatory deficiencies.
