Actalent's Client is a multi-disciplined firm with offices in the Lehigh Valley and Philadelphia that providing surveying, building system engineering, architecture, and site engineering throughout the East Coast.
An experienced survey designer/drafter shall have strong AutoCAD with civil/survey software & communication skills. Position involves design and preparation of survey documents for commercial and residential projects.
Responsibilities:
• Preparation of survey documents and files, including but not limited to boundary, topographical and location surveys, stakeout files and cut sheets, etc.
• Complete drawing/project responsibilities within scope, budget and schedule review drawings for completeness and accuracy
• Coordinate project requirements with team members and provide assistance when necessary to complete required tasks
• Organize/maintain all revisions of project drawings, plot files and project-related information in logical & well-structured manner
• Organize design points in CAD and transfer to field data collectors
• Ability to read design plans, maps and deeds, etc. for preparation of survey documents
• Have an understanding of survey field work including: Boundary & Topographical Surveys Construction Layout As-Built surveys and utilization of a Robotic Geodimeter & Trimble total stations with TDS & Ranger Data Collectors
• Field calculations and sketching
• Quality control of all survey documents, including field notes, sketches, plans, etc.
• This position may require field work with occasional road trips with overnight stays, as required
• Other related duties as assigned
